The Women For Christ of Woodland Chapel Freewill Baptist Church held their monthly meeting on April 8, 2008.  Hostesses for the evening were Joyce McCloud and Gladys McClaskey.  They chose the theme "Showers of Blessings" for the evening.

The service was opened with "The Lord's Prayer" said in unison. A Poem God's Gifts are Beautiful was read by Una Faye Chaney.

Galdys McCklaskey read Malachai Chapter 3 , and then taught a lesson on Blessings.  The group then gathered for circle prayer which was lead by Rosemary McCarty.  The service was ended with prayer and blessing of the food.  Refreshments were served.

The door prize was won by Kay Bryson.  Penny Strunk and Rosemary McCarty also won prizes.
